Dear All,

The FOSS4G-Asia 2020 host/venue selection has been completed.
Update about the voting process and results as below;

a) The voting period was between 9-13 December, 2019

b) Each member of the selection committee was requested
cast vote for first and second choice for host and venue
and going through the proposals and Q&A responses [1].

c) The team with the most first place votes was to be selected
as host for The FOSS4G-Asia 2020.

d) Voting was 100%

e) No tie had to be resolved

f) The Nepal team secured the maximum number of votes
as first choice

I would like to thank the South Korea and Nepal teams
for putting forth excellent proposals and promptly
responding to all the queries.

Congratulations to the Nepal team on being selected as
host for FOSS4G-Asia 2020!

Look forward to all your cooperation and active participation
to make FOSS4G-Asia 2020 a great success.
