Dear Sir/ Madam

We are happy to inform you that OSGeo-India is organising FOSS4G ASIA 2017 Conference during January 26-29, 2017 at Hyderabad, India. FOSS4G-ASIA 2017 Conference on Free and Open Source Solutions for Geoinformatics (FOSS4G) that are planned to foster the development and promote the widespread use of Open Source Geospatial Technologies including support for software development and publicly available Geo-data. The proposed theme of the Conference is “Empowering communities through open geospatial innovation". It will be organised by OSGeo-India and hosted by IIIT-Hyderabad, India.

Open Source Geospatial Foundation of India (OSGeo-India) is a not-for-profit Society working with Governments, Academia, Research Institutions and Industry to provide support and help in building up of open source tools and applications related to the field of geospatial technologies and its allied sciences in India. The Society and its activities are tuned towards achieving its goals, both in the context of software development, e-governance, localization (Indian language support) and building of awareness & outreach of such software systems and publicly available geodata with a pan-India focus.

Your participation with respect to the same is appreciated. Your contribution in terms of paper presentation, sponsorship or exhibition demos are welcome along with its wide circulation among geospatial community / similar interest.
