[Foss4ga.discuss] Reminder FOSS4G_Asia
Dear All,
The schedule of FOSS4G-Asia which was scheduled to hold in
Dhulikhel, Nepal, during December. 2020 was changed due to a pandemic
situation. FOSS4G-Asia 2021 at Kathmandu University [1], Nepal.
The general schedule is shown below;
30 September 2021: Training Workshops
1-2 October 2021: Conference
The conference website [2] is up and in the process of
being updated. The logo contest for the conference has been announced
and details are available at [3].
The deadline for abstract and workshop proposal submission is 15 June.
2021. Details about how to send your submissions are at [4].
If you have any general questions please write to this Mailing list or
get in touch with the Conference secretariat [5].
We are looking forward to interesting abstracts and workshop
proposals from you. Please spread the word around to your colleagues
and friends too.

FOSS4G-Asia a success.

Dear Reshma,
We will need to change the dates on the website.
As suggested by Venka, we should extend the Logo Submission deadline to 15 June and abstract and workshop proposal submission deadline to 15 July.
Let me know. I can make the changes later tonight.

I agree with it. And also, as per my information, most of the abstract
submission will be done around the deadline. And most of the colleagues are
preparing the abstract.
Regarding the logo, I have not received the logo as the previous logo
submitter has again sent via the portal.
